I've never been there although I always see from our window.
Yes, this is an island and the seaside is right over there. I want to go to the sand beach, not the concrete harbor! As we cannot use the kitchen while waiting for the caulking to dry up because it was leaky, it's good idea to eat out on this occasion!
This occurred to me and persuaded my husband to drive toward the seaside. Fifteen-minute eastward drive along the park way reaches the long coast park. Families and couples are riding bikes or rollerblading, or another ones are chatting intimately. There is a cable-towed wakeboarding lake which seems quite fun.
As we went out the beach, I smelled salty scent which I haven't done for a long time. Sitting on a bench under the tree, we slobbed about the nightfall. I really wanted to do this! And when I open my ears, the sound of... wa...ve...boom? Yes, there were hundreds of ships offshore waiting for their shipping. The engine noise were coming from them all the time. Hmmmm, something different. It might need a little nerve to swim here.
After the sunset, we were getting hungry. So, we went to have a dinner at the area where famous seafood restaurants gather. It seems many tourists come, the menu was written also in Japanese along with English. It was happy to find that big enough meal didn't cost too much.
We deserve such occasion once in a while, leh?
